You will participate and effectively contribute to the design, development, and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies. You will provide technical expertise and systems design for individual initiatives. You will have the opportunity to work with other SME consultants from our existing team.Description of Duties
- Coordinate with business owners and other analysts to define and refine the project scope.
- Conduct reviews and comparisons of current business processes against the best practices to determine where business process or system changes are necessary.
- Must have experience in requirements elicitation, storyboard development, wireframe preparation, test planning, and test execution.
- Create Test Plans and Test Scripts under the direction of the Quality Assurance team.
- Execute Tests, as documented, to ensure the improvements are properly implemented and are working as desired by the stakeholders.
- Translate requirements into technical specifications to be used by technical teams to develop system modifications.
- Propose alternative solutions that balance cost and benefit and assure business and technical compatibility and performance.
- Drives consistent project delivery through the entire project lifecycle. Tracks and exports project metrics and ensures that the team are practicing Agile principles.
- Work with internal staff to optimize processes and improve quality for the design, development and maintenance.
- Develop and maintain a productive working relationship with technology staff, business owners, project sponsors, vendors, and key clients.
Minimum Experience
- 5-7 years of Business Analyst experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in business management or information systems.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office 365 suite of business software including Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, plus proficient in Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft ADO Testing Module.
