Senior Clinical Application Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Clinical Application Analyst who can create a “wow” experience for our care team working within our electronic health records (EHR) systems.
This person will be responsible for updating and creating streamlined workflows, creating documentation, and providing training and ongoing support to the AndHealth clinical team. Additionally, this person will engage with our partners and participate in components of implementation to deliver new services to our partners.
What you’ll do in the role:
- Lead EHR configuration sessions with partners, ensuring the appropriate development and implementation of key application functionality needed to support AndHealth services
- Assist with system configurations and workflows to improve EHR use for AndHealth end users
- Identify and remove inconsistencies across EHR workflows; building and implementing best practice workflows across all clinical teams
- Build (or assist partner with building) custom templates and smart phrases as needed by AndHealth providers
- Provide at-the-elbow physician support, feedback, and user record specialization
- Keep abreast of advancements in EHR, Health Information Exchange (HIE), and Clinical Software and technologies
- Perform user support and troubleshooting, drive timely resolution of complex issues to achieve minimal clinic operations disruptions
- Participate in training sessions with our partners, becoming an “expert” in the functions that will be used by administrative and clinical AndHealth staff
- Translate training provided by partner training staff into AndHealth best practices
- Provide initial and ongoing EHR training for the AndHealth staff inclusive of all roles from providers to nurses and administrative support staff
- Improve physician engagement and knowledge retention
- Update existing and future training into targeted modules
- Create easy to use and robust reference materials
- Highlight key workflow differences in partner EHRs, create tipsheets for quick access to frequently needed functionality, etc
- Design auditing process to enforce physician documentation compliance required by our CHC partners
Education & Licensure Requirements:
- Preferred degree in computer science, management information systems, or information technology
Other Skills or Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, eClinicalWorks, Cerner, NextGen)
- Experience with project management
- Must have an interdisciplinary & system thinking approach
- Must have excellent multi-tasking, problem solving, and decision making skills
- Ability to follow instructions with attention to detail
- Demonstrates professional relationship skills, and a strong work ethic
- Knowledge of medical terminology, billing, and coding preferred
- Prioritizes responsibilities, takes initiative, and possesses excellent organizational skills

- (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months.
- (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity.
- Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving.
- Hep B3 Series.
- (Flu) Influenza-required.
