As Financial Data Researcher at Presto
We are looking for a skilled and curious Financial Data Researcher to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to support investment decisions, risk management, and financial modeling. Responsibilities
- Analyze financial trends, identify patterns, and extract meaningful insights to support investment decisions, risk management, or financial modeling.
- Research, develop, and implement new AI algorithms and machine learning models tailored to specific research goals.
- Prepare and clean data for use in AI models, including handling missing values, normalization, and feature engineering.
- Train and fine-tune AI models using large datasets, optimizing their performance and accuracy.
- Evaluate the performance of AI models, analyze results, and interpret their significance for research purposes.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field is typically preferred.
- Strong Programming Languages (Python is a must).
- Machine Learning Frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn) and Deep Learning Techniques (if applicable to the research area).
- Experience with LLM and large models.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and interpret trends in financial data.
- Excellent research skills with the ability to locate and evaluate financial information from credible sources.
- Experience with Cloud Computing Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) (possibly project-specific).
