It’s an exciting time to become a key member of our growing team.The Integration Consultant guides customers through an analysis of their systems and procedures while developing and overseeing the integration plan, ensuring the Cayuse Research Platform & modules are operating efficiently and effectively with the customer’s systems of record.
Responsibilities
- Lead customer conversations to ensure customers understand the capabilities of the Cayuse Research Platform.
- Define and design the functional requirements to successfully integrate customers’ source information systems with the Cayuse suite
- Delivers functional design, specifications through to testing plans for SSO/HRC/API and batch integration solutions
- Work directly with customers to develop technical implementation plans ensuring data & integration requirements are documented.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the project teams
- Consistent use of Cayuse project methodology to facilitate efficient focus sessions across both project teams
- Develop specifications for interfacing solutions to an institution’s ERP, CRM, Analytics and 3rd party systems.
- Function as technical expert for Cayuse Sales team in scoping and estimating integration projects for prospects (standard platform and non-standard custom).
- Provide technical solution overviews, solution architecture diagrams and mapping tools and resources as required during sales process to demonstrate Cayuse/Customer integration system points.
- Advise customers on API tools and scripts.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer and educate clients on managing interfaces to and from a SaaS platform.
- Track issues and risks, communicate status and escalate concerns to project management.
- Identify and clarify issues while working collaboratively with customers and the Customer Delivery Team to define and execute solutions.
- Partner with Product Management to address technical escalations and procedural questions from customers regarding data integrations.
- Act as customer advocate when making enhancement requests to Product Management and assist in determining which issues have the greatest impact on our customers.
- Work with Marketing, Sales, Product Management to prepare new or enhance existing documentation and collateral.
- Provide front-line technical support to customers migrating data as well as implementing integrations.
- Fostering relationships with the sales organization for new customers.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience defining customer-facing software implementation projects, with a preference for experience on projects featuring system integrations.
- Prior experience with Batch and API integrations, web services and data modeling is required.
- Background in systems/database systems and scripting.
- Familiarity with integration platforms as a service (Informatica, MuleSoft) a plus
- Project experience in a technical role on one or more ERP implementation projects using API tools (Banner, Workday, PeopleSoft). .
- Demonstrated experience with web service technologies (REST, JSON, Web Sockets, SOAP, etc).
- Familiar with Swagger hub and other API documentation tools.
- Ability to construct basic queries in SQL.
- Ability to make API calls using Postman or command line tools.
- Exhibit exceptional technical problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or in a team-oriented manner.
- Exceptional communication skills (written and oral) to convey the technical solutions to stakeholders.
- Prior experience working with technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution is required.
- Energetic, curious, resourceful, highly creative and self-motivated.
- Able to thrive in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment.
- Excellent ability to bring a sense of customer-focus and professional ethics to all things.
Some Key Details:
- This position will report to our Customer Delivery Organization
- This is a security sensitive position and requires a background check and will need to adhere to the Cayuse Information Security Management System.
- Travel to customer sites as needed (3-5 trips/year)
