Job Summary:


Hive Group is a rapidly growing management consulting firm working in the federal procurement space. We are seeking an energetic individual to join our team to provide assistance to our federal clients. This provides support to our Human Capital Team.   This is an exciting opportunity to get involved in government consulting on the ground floor.

Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Assesses organizational data to identify gaps and trends in human capital initiatives
  • Responsible for problem solving, formulating recommendations, and assisting clients with various activities, projects or assignments
  • Generates and assesses internal reports on hiring metrics, personnel actions and other HR related functions
  • Conducts development of and edits to human capital strategy and training plans ensuring materials are accurate, consistent and presented in a clear and concise manner
  • Provides critical thinking and problem solving with increasing complexity and scope of work
  • Assesses developing delivery skills and expertise to help deliver high quality services to support projects
  • Supports managing and tracking staff hiring, onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Extrapolates and communicates important information to client clearly and concisely
  • Supports planning and execution of strategic human capital initiatives
  • Identifies areas for process improvement and collaborates with key stakeholders to implement changes
  • Develops standard operating procedures for client workstreams
  • Coordinates and schedules calendar events for leadership
  • Flexes to support team members with other business functions and processes
  • Completes ad hoc projects for both federal and corporate support
  • Responds to requests for information according to documented processes and data security standards

Minimum Requirements: 


  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business management or a related field
  • Experience: 4-6 years of related experience
  • Clearance: Able to obtain a Tier 2 Public Trust investigation
  • Skills & Key Attributes
  • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Has experience with Federal Hiring regulations and practices
  • Has experience with MS Office or Google Suite applications to include word processing and spreadsheet functions
  • Demonstrates active listening skills; works well in a team environment
  • Maintains records and schedules in an organized manner
  • Holds a consistent sense of urgency and high degree of personal motivation for success
  • Demonstrates a strong attention to detail and passion for accuracy
  • Positive attitude – demonstrates an ultimate desire to fulfill organizational objectives by complete customer satisfaction
