WORK ENVIRONMENT:


We are a remote first company with the exception of a few positions being onsite in our designated locations.  The positions which are remote you will need to be able to travel a few times a year. You may be required at times to visit client sites or attend meetings at designated locations with your team members.

POSITION SUMMARY:


We are looking for a Business Analyst who works in highly agile teams from various different locations developing the various Nymbus applications. You will be the binding element between our clients and our internal team in Engineering, Marketing, Sales. You will need to understand the Nymbus products and the client experience at a very deep level. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Work closely with the Product Owner to understand, contribute to, and implement the overall product vision
  • Assists Product Owner with building and managing product backlogs by defining user stories and writing acceptance criteria in support of the product vision
  • Build relationships and work directly with Product Owners, Project Managers, UX, Development, Implementations, Compliance, Business & Retail Banking Support, Clients, and Sales to establish, refine and usher requirements to completion.  
  • Assists Product Owner with backlog grooming, prioritization of product backlog items, and is an active participant in the sprint planning and grooming ceremonies
  • Collaborate with design and development teams to ensure dependencies are identified, stakeholder’s needs are met, and facilitate successful outcomes within necessary timelines. 
  • Works closely with technical, development, and QA team members to ensure they have clarity and support daily with current work items
  • Assists in user acceptance testing to ensure acceptance criteria has been met 
  • Ability to think critically and understand feature decomposition
  • Ability to understand and articulate functional and technical details in a concise manner
  • Assists Product Owner with competitive analysis and go-to-market launch strategies
  • Proactively establish and manage both long and short term priorities while driving toward an MVP and adhering to the product roadmap
  • Manages workload independently and with direction, providing updates regularly, setting expectations, and following through 
  • Identifies, investigates and reports gaps, problems and enhancements independently and proactively
  • Creates and maintains documentation, training guides, and release notes for the product
  • Asks pertinent questions to advance their own knowledge, and shares information freely to drive a shared understanding of the tool and processes to support the team
  • Is a champion for our users, empathizes with their problems, and makes them the focal point when discussing new solutions or correcting issues
  • Willing to travel if/when needed 

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Minimum of 5+ years experience in similar roles 
  • Extensive experience in leading and driving requirements gathering, definition, and delivery
  • Proficient in software development lifecycles and Agile methodologies (certifications recommended)
  • Strong understanding of web applications, software development, and/or CRM tools and concepts, including but not limited to: UI interactions, field types, lead generation, authentication, back v. front office, sessions, cookies, APIs, integrations, data model schema, external ids, workflow rules, order of operations, etc. 
  • Knowledge of the banking industry is encouraged including experience with origination platforms, regulations and products
  • A background in Banking and Financial services is an advantage
  • Strong work ethic with an emphasis on service and quality
  • Ability to organize workload for effective delivery of multiple concurrent projects
  • Highly passionate and positive in a rapidly changing and fast-paced environment
  • Experience with solving problems through technology and ability to make decisions
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, driven by results for the business stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills and outstanding active listening abilities
  • Meticulously organized, with attention to detail, and the ability to context switch between detailed tasks and the larger picture. 
  • The ideal candidate will have exceptional technical, analytical and problem solving skills and be comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization, owning the functional and technical responsibilities aligned with this role.
  • The candidate must be a self starter, with a bias toward action, who can recognize and make process improvement recommendations. 
  • Ability to interact effectively with individuals from different countries, cultures and timezones, with a sensitivity to cultural diversity
  • Willing attitude to learn, build relationships, solve problems and contribute to the team at a high level overall
  • Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written)
  • Experience using tools, languages, technologies such as: Jira, Confluence, Figma, Lucid, SQL, Postman, CRM

SALARY & BENEFITS:


  • $80,000 - $90,000 Annual Salary 
  • Annual Cash Bonus and Equity Options commensurate with the role level and experience
  • 100% Fully Remote
