Avation Medical is actively recruiting an R&D Software Engineering Intern to aid in all software aspects of the Vivally System, the first FDA-cleared closed-loop wearable neuromodulation system to treat symptoms of overactive bladder in adults. This role will be pivotal in supporting Vivally software development and testing, including coding, app and firmware testing, debugging, documentation and system enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Software testing for mobile and web applications, UI, and embedded code.
- Support with coding, debugging and documentation of software.
- Actively participate with Avation R&D team for new product development.
- Support design, analysis, and modeling activities for medical devices.
- Conduct system testing using lab equipment and document reports.
Qualifications
- Academic focus on software, electrical, Systems or software Engineering
- Relevant coursework, such as design, coding, testing, circuits, controls, lab work
- Analytical mind, with ability to learn quickly and apply technical knowledge
- Familiarity with Python, GitHub, Matlab, LabVIEW, or other similar tools
- Independent, creative, collaborative with strong positive can-do attitude
