POSITON SUMMARY: 


The Care Services Administrator will ensure administrative support for the Care Services Department is executed, while also providing resources, services, and building relationships with those served and community partners. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Analyze and organize care services operations and procedures, including information management and requisition of supplies.
  • Responsible for Accounts Payable process of submitting all invoices for payment to the Finance Department and maintaining vendor relationships.
  • Assists staff in maintaining records and databases, providing reports as required or requested; including quarterly reports to leadership councils and senior leadership.
  • Provides administration for care services grants throughout all stages including receiving, assessing, tracking, payment/check requests, and maintaining accurate and timely records of grant programmatic activities.
  • Supports the Association’s development, care services and communication functions; generates requested information, data and reports from information maintained in database and other source information.
  • Responds to and coordinates requests from Care Services staff; including sending out mailings and scheduling meetings.
  • Local System Support for Staff (Microsoft, SalesForce, Sharepoint)
  • Triage calls/emails from general voicemail and emails.
  • Provide event assistance, as needed (i.e., support groups, special events, etc.)
  • Conveys a professional and positive image that reflects favorably on The ALS Association.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Education and/or background in accounting or business-related experience, totaling 3 years; data entry experience a plus.
  • Salesforce software knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with clients, volunteers, human service professionals, the public and co-workers. 
  • Strong organizational skills and communication skills, including computer skills. 
  • A strong work ethic, essential for this demanding environment that continually strives for excellence. 
  • Computer skills required: Microsoft Office; Inventory Software; Project Management Software.

PAY TRANSPARENCY:The ALS Association's pay range for this position is $19.57 - $23.69 per hour.The ALS Association has compensation ranges for various work locations throughout the United States, allowing us to compensate employees competitively and consistently in diverse geographic markets. The above-listed listed range shows prospective compensation for this role; the appropriate range will be established by what is eventually determined to be the candidate's primary work location. Various factors, including the complexity and significance of the role, job duties/requirements, relevant experience and abilities, and primary work location, determine individual compensation.

Compensation ranges are evaluated and typically adjusted on a regular basis. Offers are made within the compensation range that is in effect at the time of the job offer.The Association may, at its discretion, offer merit-based increases tied to individual performance. The benefits listed may differ depending on employment status with the Association.
