FDA Management Consultant
Prometheus Federal Services (PFS), a trusted partner to federal health and social services agencies, has an opening for a Management Consultant with Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Consulting experience. You will work closely with and support FDA agency clients in communications and change management efforts. The ideal candidate will have expertise and experience supporting FDA to implement high visibility projects and initiatives. The selected candidate must be local to the DC metro area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate may be responsible for, among other things:
- Performs day-to-day management of contract support operations.
- Demonstrates skills in the scope of work encompassed by the task order; provides technical guidance to the project team in performance of the work and reviews the quality of all work products.
- Develop Communications, including press releases, blogs, talking points, website copy, video scripts, etc.
- Integrate change management activities into project plan
- Create actionable deliverables, such as a communication plan, roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, or resistance management plan
- Organizes, directs, and coordinates the planning and production of all contract support activities.
- Maintains and manages the client interface at the COR levels of the client organization.
- Assists the Program Manager as required in managing contract performance.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, or similar degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of six (6) years of experience in federal and/or private strategic communications or change management
- Experience conducting stakeholder analyses, impact analyses, and implementation planning
- Proven ability to execute executive-level oral and written communications (briefings, presentations, and strategic documentation)
- Experience developing talking points, writing speeches, and crafting blogs/social media posts for senior executive level clients
- Strong analytical skills with ability to define, collect, and analyze data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and make logical decisions
- Proven experience developing detailed project plans, project budgets, resource plans, and risk management plans
- Knowledge of strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, and public relations best practices and core principles
- Demonstrated experience supporting the planning and execution of a complex external communications plan for federal and/or private clients
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship
- Ability to obtain a public trust
Preferred Qualifications
- Prosci certification
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
