Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team supporting our manufacturing group. The Quality Assurance Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet our quality standards and regulatory requirements. This individual will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and reliability of our products.
Job Duties:
- Performs inspection of complex fabricated parts using hand tools such as calipers, height gauges, tape measures, micrometers, and angle gauges
- Inspects welded parts to determine quality standards
- Reports any trends to quality engineering to ensure containment and potential corrective measures to address any issues
- Maintain inspection records for quarterly and yearly review
- Records and recommends preliminary disposition of nonconforming material in electronic systems
- Ability to work under general guidance from management
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with quality inspection of complex fabricated parts
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and understand engineering drawings, inspection procedures and work instructions
- Working knowledge of understanding measurement methods and techniques
- Ability to use fixtures and measurement tools to set up parts and perform inspections
- Use of electronic enterprise resource planning system to transact materials into and out of quality and research inquires regarding part status
- Excellent oral & written communication skills
