MicroHealth is seeking a
Solutions Architect in support of our Headquarters location in

Vienna, VA.


The Solutions Architect will understand PWS requirements, identify appropriate technical solutions, and work with the Capture team to craft a compelling and compliant proposal responses.

Responsibilities:


  • Extensive experience in government contracting in lead technical roles (Architecture, Systems Design, or Development)
  • Cyber/IT SME with working knowledge of some of the following topic areas: Incident Handling & Management, Information Assurance & Security Engineering, Information Operations
  • Work with Capture managers, Business Development Managers, and Proposal managers to craft optimal technical solutions to meet requirements as described in PWS
  • Hands-on authoring of technical sections for federal proposals
  • Network Threat/Intrusion Analysis, Digital Network Exploitation/SGINT Analysis, Computer Network Operations & Development, DevSecOps, Network Management and Engineering, Data Center Architecture, Vulnerability Analysis and Risk Assessments preferred
  • Conduct SS/RFI/SOW/PWS/RFP analysis to become familiar with source materials
  • Develop outline to align with requirements and address the customer’s need and hot buttons
  • Support the full life cycle of Federal IT Services proposals
  • Solid IT technical knowledge utilized in proposal writing
  • Respond to Federal IT requirements with compliant technical proposal content that is persuasive, well organized, and responsive to federal requirement
  • Work with other members of the Capture team to provide help and support with other facets of a proposal development process like establishing the level of efforts, finalizing pricing, reviewing, etc.
  • Participate in color team reviews and recovery, technical solution meetings, and other collaborative events.
  • Experienced in developing Federal IT proposals using best practices to produce winning proposals.
  • Solid understanding of IT concepts, and ability to translate into technical proposal content.

Requirements


  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technical related discipline
  • Minimum of four (4) years of demonstrated ability to author technical sections in proposals
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of professional experience in information technology and Federal Government contracting
  • Experienced in developing Federal IT proposals using best practices to produce winning proposals.
  • Solid understanding of IT concepts, and ability to translate into technical proposal content.
  • Experience writing about technical concepts, including IT infrastructure, systems engineering, software/application management (modernization, operations & maintenance) and cloud services, and interoperability.
  • Possess an excellent overall understanding of enterprise architecture, system/application architecture and delivery systems and processes/tools used
  • Ability to tailor technical solutions as needed
  • Experience and understanding of the Agile software development lifecycle
  • Exceptional written/oral communication skills

Additional Qualifications:


  • Knowledge of the marketplace and ability to successfully identify and engage teaming partners that contribute to successful capture and project execution
  • Successful execution of each phase of the proposal development process from opportunity identification to closing
