Position Role:


Help drive renewal growth in our marketplace by managing the renewals book with our marketplace lenders. Build relationships with both marketplace clients, as well as lending partners to serve as the main Rapid Financing point-of-contact for subsequent funding transactions.

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Achieve individual sales production units, volume, and revenue consistently.
  • Aid the Sales Director and Marketplace team in managing relationships with marketplace lenders.
  • Organize and attend regular calls with marketplace lenders to discuss changes to guidelines, renewal eligibility, and other items.
  • Track and manage lender reporting that will be used to gain insights into our renewal book.
  • Cross-sell to existing clients by building rapport and identifying their needs
  • Educate and provide professional recommendations to clients based on their needs
  • Manage existing sequences and drip marketing for active book

WHAT WE LOVE ABOUT YOU:


  • Bachelor's Degree in business, economics, communications, psychology or a similar field (or have some college coursework completed or equivalent experience)
  • You have a minimum of 1-2 years experience in consultative selling (inside or outside sales) in a goals-oriented, productivity/metric-driven sales environment (preferred).
  • You’re able to quickly build rapport, earn the trust of your customers and keep them coming back
  • You share our passion for empowering small business owners and/or an interest in financial services
  • You aren’t afraid of the phone – you’re willing to pick up the phone and talk to small business owners about their financial needs.

  • You are financially motivated, confident in your ability to succeed, and you are willing to put in the extra hours, especially if it means closing a deal.

  • You thrive when hard work results in dollars earned and are comfortable with a blended compensation plan (base salary + incentives)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
  • Critical thinking, negotiating, and problem-solving skills
  • Your work style is flexible – you can work well independently and as part of a team
  • You aren’t overly concerned with what’s in your job description – if something needs to be done, you’re willing to do whatever it takes to be successful

  • You have a proven track record of closing
  • Competitive personality – strong desire to win!
  • Energetic, trainable, and positive attitude – the aptitude to learn quickly
