About the position:
As Jon-Don continues to grow, they seek a?Senior Manager of Distribution and Fulfillment?who will manage the processes and systems and seek ways to improve. This individual will support SIOP (Sales Inventory and Operations and will work with the Director of Inventory. Will have ongoing meetings to gain alignment between sales initiative, inventory and operation capabilities and readiness. As a key decision-maker for the business, the Senior Manager of Distribution and Fulfillment will be expected to work cross-functionally to understand the business's needs and the customers we serve.? This leader will use data, analytics, customer insights, creativity, and strategic thinking. The right candidate for this role will display strong communication, analytical and organizational skills along with cross-functional and corporate leadership skills, strong negotiation skills, commercial acumen, and a deep understanding of Jon-Don’s customers and industries.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Freight negotiation
- Research all facility leases, properties and strategy within them.
- Work with Director of Inventory and cross functional department.
- Customer Contact.
- Will support SIOP (Sales Inventory and Operations).
- Plan ongoing meetings to gain alignment between sales initiative, inventory and operations capabilities and readiness
- Manage VMI (Vender Manage Inventory) to develop process and roll it out with our customers.
- Occasionally travel to new or current locations as business needs dictate
- Offer guidance on Business growth, recognize change, forecasting (examples, where we need to be, how much square footage we require, etc.)

Requirements
Education
- BA/BS required, MBA or additional graduate degree a plus
- Supply Chain Operations Degree preferred
- Lean Six Sigma preferred
- Strong and relevant experience in B2B and/or B2C
- Strong leadership skills, capable of leading a successful team and influencing internal stakeholders while establishing a strong operating process across multiple departments

- Strategic thinker with a background and proven track record managing operations.
- Strong organizational and analytic skills
- Experience with Project Management
- Ability to set clear priorities, self-starter

- Requires 25-40% travel.
