Job Summary:
Jon-Don, a large and growing distributor of equipment, chemicals, and supplies to professional contractors is seeking an Inside Sales Representative.Are you looking to advance your career in sales? Do you love talking to people and persuading them on a topic or product? If so, our Inside Sales position may be for you. This sales role will be assigned a book of business, campaigns, customer prospect lists, and open territories in all customer sectors/segments throughout the United States. You will build relationships with and educate prospects and customers on Jon-Don’s products, service, and value advantage.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sell via phone/email to active customers and reengage lapsed customers.
- Discuss with decision makers, business owners, and contractors to sell, educate, and promote Jon-Don products, services and education
- Utilize Salesforce.com to manage leads, opportunities, and activities
- Actively reach out to customers for opportunities.
- Respond to sales inquiries via phone and/or email
- Consultative sales approach to partner with customers
- Aim for consistent, monthly revenue growth by actively managing leads
- Manage accounts by clear communication and problem solving
- Work with internal departments to proactively manage work flow and customer requests
Requirements
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma
- Previous Inside Sales Experience
REQUIRED SKILLS / ATTITUDES:
Successful Candidates Possess:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Phone sales experience a plus
- Ability to ask probing questions and close a sale
- Strong task management and organizational skills
- Sense of urgency in learning new trends and products, as well as timely follow up
- Desire to learn
- Hunger to plan and execute
