PCMI (Policy Claim Management International) is a fast-growing, leading provider of integrated software for Extended Warranty Management and Finance and Insurance (F&I) administration. We are a SaaS company that operates in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment. Our 3 teams located in the US, Poland, and Thailand work collaboratively around the clock to build our PCRS platform that automates the full administration lifecycle of all extended warranties, F&I products, and service contracts for our customers.
What You’ll Do
The Sr SysOps Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. You will lead efforts in migrating on-premise systems to Azure, managing Active Directory environments, and enhancing our enterprise networking capabilities. Additionally, you will support our DevOps initiatives by managing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
In this role, you will:
- Azure Cloud Management:Oversee the deployment, management, and scaling of Azure cloud resources to support business applications and services.
- On-Premise Migrations:Lead and execute the migration of on-premise systems and applications to the Azure cloud, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.
- Active Directory Administration: Manage and maintain Active Directory, including user account management, group policies, and domain services.
- Enterprise Networking:Design, implement, and manage enterprise networking solutions, ensuring robust connectivity, security, and performance.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Develop, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to facilitate efficient software development and deployment processes.
- System Monitoring and Maintenance:Implement and maintain monitoring solutions to ensure system health and performance, promptly addressing any issues.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure all systems and networks are secure and compliant with relevant regulations and best practices.
- Automation: Develop and implement automation scripts and tools to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Collaboration:Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to align infrastructure strategies with business goals.
What You’ll Need to Join Our Team
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years proven experience as a SysOps Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong focus on Azure cloud.
- Extensive experience with on-premise to cloud migrations.
- Proficient in managing and configuring Active Directory.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise networking concepts, including routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancing.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong understanding of security best practices and data protection regulations.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
