Attention to detail, organization and accuracy are essential skills for this position.
Responsibilities Related to Accounts Payable:
- Process vendor invoices through ERP system
- Reconciliation of vendor statements
- Knowledge of GL coding of vendor invoices and payment requests
- Resolves account discrepancies by investigating documentation
- Continuously evaluates work tasks/streams, utilizes current accounting system technology, and researches new technology to facilitate efficient functionality and process improvement
- Perform additional duties or special assignments as assigned or required
Responsibilities related to Accounts Receivable / Order Entry:
- Customer cash application – deduction and credit management
- Customer collections
- Resolves account discrepancies by investigating documentation
- Process customer orders and create invoices
- Perform additional duties or special assignments as assigned or required
skills/qualifications required:
- A minimum of 2 years Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable experience required.
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, and time management.
- Teamwork, collaboration, and ability to flex with the needs of the business required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word and Excel).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.
