We are looking for a Sr Senior Data Analyst to join our Strategic Insights & Analytics team!  We invite you to check out the details below and consider whether becoming a Nerd is the next step in your career journey.


Our ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can link different pieces of information that best answer the business/ client objective and elevate thinking with empathy, grounded in consumer truth.  You will recommend and execute the correct method to help discover the insights needed to meet the project’s objective and use creative problem-solving techniques to design multi-faceted research studies.

What Things Will You Do As A Nerd?


  • Understand the context of the client’s business problem and questions,  in order to understand the broader context of how the data analysis will support their business
  • Communicating with stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements
  • Employ data governance best practices to define people, processes, and technology that intercept data assets and help leverage enterprise data in a sustainable manner
  • Create a  data governance framework that help establish current state and identify improvement opportunities
  • Define a data strategy that forms the foundation of leveraging the relevant data sources 
  • Use data mining techniques to extract information from data sets and identify correlations and patterns 
  • Organize and transform information into comprehensible structures and frameworks
  • Leverage statistical methods to analyze data
  • Synthesized insights across a variety of data sources (e.g. product, operational, customer and behavioral)
  • Leverage  reporting tools (such as Power BI, Looker and Tableau) and techniques to visualize data in easy-to-understand formats
  • Communicate synthesized insights, process and strategy to key internal and external stakeholders

Skills and Qualifications


Required:


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in  Mathematics, Data Analytics or Computer Science 
  • 5+ years experience in data analysis, data governance, data strategy and visualization as a supplier or a client in a private, public, and/or government industry
  • Ability to create analytics dashboards using tools such as, Looker, Tableau and PowerBI
  • Strong understanding of product analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Content Square or Quantum Metric and/or Contentsquare
  • Proven analytical acumen to organize and interpret data and develop insights that encourage action.
  • Demonstrated ability to create clear and compelling storylines and recommendations
  • Strong oral, written and presentation skills

Preferred:


  • Master's degree in  Mathematics, Data Analytics or Computer Science 
  • Proven experience with Google visualization and reporting tools such as Looker.
  • In-depth knowledge of statistical methodologies and data analysis techniques
  • Proficiency in SQL, SPSS and/or SAS, Python
