Make a difference in commercial and property insurance industry by joining and leading our marketing efforts.Role Overview:Our team is seeking an expert in UI design, UX design, and front-end development to join our growing company.
You'll possess a natural grasp of human-computer interaction design (HCID), allowing you to craft elegant solutions that enhance our application and bring them to life through your expertise in JavaScript and AngularJS. This role reports to our Director of Engineering.What You'll be Doing:
- Contribute to defining and implementing cutting-edge solutions for product direction, visual language, and user experience, in collaboration with product and engineering teams.
- Develop UI and UX strategies aligned with our target goals through user research and design thinking.
- Leverage your expertise in Figma (or similar) to create and maintain compelling digital assets like interface designs, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
- Craft user interfaces for our web apps that are intuitive and delightful, then bring them to life with high-quality, maintainable code.
- Design, build, and optimize reusable JavaScript, HTML, and CSS code for a sustainable and maintainable front-end architecture.
- Help us leverage our existing tech stack and business model to their fullest potential, while offering innovative technical solutions to overcome any limitations.
Role Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a Design-related field: Graphic design, interaction design, human-computer interaction (HCI), visual communication, information architecture. Or Development-related field: Computer science, software engineering, web development.
- Demonstrated expertise in UI/UX design, backed by a portfolio showcasing impactful solutions and a deep understanding of user needs.
- 1-2 years of proven experience in UI development.
- 1-2 years of experience crafting web applications with JavaScript, with a strong preference for AngularJS.
- Expertise in HTML, CSS, and Tailwind CSS is required.
- Experience with NodeJS and Cypress is a plus.
- Proficiency in Figma a plus
- Web design / UX experience
