PCMI (Policy Claim Management International) is a fast-growing, leading provider of integrated software for Extended Warranty Management and Finance and Insurance (F&I) administration. We are a SaaS company that operates in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment. Our 3 teams located in the US, Poland, and Thailand work collaboratively around the clock to build our PCRS platform that automates the full administration lifecycle of all extended warranties, F&I products, and service contracts for our customers.
What You’ll Do
The Solution Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients in the auto warranty sector. In this role, you will:
- Develop and articulate architectural solutions that meet business and technical requirements for our SaaS platform.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to engineering teams, ensuring adherence to best practices in software design, coding, and deployment.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, translate requirements into technical specifications, and deliver effective solutions.
- Ensure solutions comply with industry regulations, data protection standards, and security protocols.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact and applicability to our platform.
- Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, including design patterns, guidelines, and technical specifications.
What You’ll Need to Join Our Team
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role, preferably within the SaaS industry.
- Expertise in software development, including proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with Azure cloud platform and microservices architecture.
- Proficient in database design and management (SQL, NoSQL).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Knowledge of security best practices and data protection regulations.
- Experience with AI/ML applications in the auto warranty sector.
- Strong understanding of auto warranty processes and industry-specific challenges.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of user experience (UX) design principles.

Note: It is preferred for this role to be in the Park Ridge, IL office 2 days per week.
