The ideal candidate will have a passion for data, a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to transform data into actionable insights. This person will work closely with various departments to help drive data-driven decision-making across the agency.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio and databases) to recommend and develop new data visualizations that enhance BI capabilities for the agency and clients.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
- Be the expert on database loads and data availability for all data sources.
- Develop dashboards and reports as needed for agency partners and clients.
- Analyze existing dashboards and/or backend datasets to identify trends for clients.
- Own documentation for data definitions, methodologies and processes.
- Provide training and support to other team members on how to ue BI tools and interpret data insights.
- Provide strategic recommendations to departments, cross-functional teams and clients for both data-driven business action and continuous improvements for best-in-class BI techniques.
- Track and analyze KPIs to measure effectiveness of business strategies and initiatives.
Requirements:
- A passion for data!
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- 3-5 years of experience in business intelligence.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as finance, mathematics, data science, or related field
- Proficient in BI Tools (such as Tableau and Power BI), and SQl skills.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as python is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written skills, ability to present data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with various departments.
