About the Role:


The People Operations Executive is responsible for managing and optimizing people processes to ensure the efficient operation of the People Ops department. This role includes handling employee records, HRIS management, compliance, benefits administration, and providing support for people related queries. The People Operations Executive works closely with other People Ops team members to support the overall people strategy and ensure a seamless employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Employee Records Management:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR systems.
  • Ensure all employee information is handled with confidentiality and in compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Manage the documentation process for new hires, including offer letters, employment contracts, and onboarding materials.
  • HR Information System (HRIS) Management:
  • Administer and maintain the HRIS, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Generate and analyze HR reports related to headcount, turnover etc.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the HRIS.
  • Assist in the implementation of new HR systems.
  • Benefits Administration:
  • Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
  • Assist employees with benefits inquiries and enrolment processes.
  • Coordinate with benefits providers to ensure timely and accurate benefits administration.
  • Compliance and Policy Administration:
  • Manage compliances with local, state, and federal regulations on monthly, quarterly and/or annual basis.
  • Assist in updating HR policies and procedures as needed.
  • Assist in compliance audits and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Payroll Support:
  • Preparation of monthly payroll reports and activity as per payroll calendar.
  • Collaborate with the payroll team / vendor to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Support employees to resolve payroll-related queries with payroll team / vendor.
  • Assist with payroll audits and reporting.
  • Employee Relations:
  • Support in pre-onboarding and onboarding activities, onboarding orientation program schedule, resolving any new hire queries or coordinating with concerned parties, tracking onboarding completion and ensuring a smooth experience for new hires.
  • Support the exit process, including conducting exit interviews and managing offboarding procedures.

  • About You:


    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources Management.
    • 3-5 years of experience in HR operations or a similar role in the IT industry.
    • Strong knowledge of HRIS systems and HR processes.
    • Familiarity with labor laws and regulations for the India market.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
