Job Summary
Line cook position for a reliable individual looking to expand their culinary skills and grow with us.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Carefully follows standard recipes while preparing assigned items for foodservice
- Consistently uses safe and sanitary food handling practices
- Assists other cooks during emergencies or rush periods
- Inspects and cleans food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces, or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices
- Assist in plating food items for service
- Cleans assigned workstation areas
- Ensures food is stored and cooked at the correct temperature by regulating the temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters
- Carefully follows instructions and procedures set and communicated by the Chef
Qualifications & Skills
- Reliable
- Required Certification(s): Food Handlers
- Able to communicate effectively with other team members
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in busy bars/restaurants
- Knowledge of modern kitchens, chefs, and techniques
- Must have a positive attitude and be self-motivated
- Must interact with brunch guests and ensure a great experience
