Packaging Technicians are responsible for harvesting, drying, curing, and packaging medical cannabis in a safe and compliant manner. Responsibilities include maintaining organizational goals and culture, while remaining compliant with state/federal, and other regulatory authorities and organizations.
Essential Functions:
- Harvest cannabis plants following standard operating procedures
- Trim cannabis in safe, sanitary, and efficient manner
- Dry and cure cannabis following standard operating procedures
- Label and package all Revolution products as needed
- Maintain a clean workspace to prevent cross-contamination
- Perform quality assurance checks during, harvest, curing, trimming and packaging process
- Weigh and record data in accordance with standard operating procedure
- Basic cannabis knowledge a plus
- Adhere to biosecurity measures to prevent cross contamination
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum age requirement 21
- Passion for medical cannabis
- High School diploma or GED required, some college education preferred
- Ability to work some weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to hand trim with sheers for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry up to 25 pounds
- Great attitude and ability to follow direction Ability to successfully pass a thorough internal and external background check including criminal history check by the State Police and FBI
- Ability to obtain a Cultivation Registration Identification Card from the IL Department of Agriculture
