PCMI (Policy Claim Management International) is a fast-growing, leading provider of integrated software for Extended Warranty Management and Finance and Insurance (F&I) administration. We are a SaaS company that operates in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment. Our 3 teams located in the US, Poland, and Thailand work collaboratively around the clock to build our PCRS platform that automates the full administration lifecycle of all extended warranties, F&I products, and service contracts for our customers.
What You’ll Do
The Technical Business Analyst will be responsible for providing business analysis services to clients who seek to implement or have implemented PCMI’s software. The focus of this position is to collaborate closely with clients to gain in-depth understanding of the customer’s business strategy, processes, services, roadmap, and the context in which the business operates. You will oversee reviewing assigned business processes from end-to-end. You will provide documented requirements to the Project Manager who shall incorporate them into a release plan.In this role, you will:
- Facilitate requirements gathering discussions with staff at all levels of the organization, assess needs, document requirements, and proactively recommend solutions.
- Design, develop and maintain appropriate workflow documents and business process documentation in collaboration with stakeholders across the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to optimize business processes.
- Analyze and determine the best path for solving business opportunities/issues which may include process improvements, application/system enhancements and/or end-user training.
- Liaise between IT and stakeholders to translate technical language into business terminology and vice versa.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis to answer specific business questions or to support new initiatives.
- Perform data quality checks during data consumption to ensure that end users can use the data with minimal downstream enrichments.
What You’ll Need to Join Our Team
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in SQL with an emphasis on Data Analysis and Troubleshooting
- Experience with Agile/Scrum project methodologies.
- Ability to quickly analyze and direct technical issues to relevant staff.
- The ability to clearly translate complex technical concepts to non-technical staff, as well as communicate business needs to technical staff.
