Job Overview:


Are you a dedicated and passionate social worker ready to inspire young minds? AnthroMed Education is looking for an enthusiastic Elementary Social Worker for the 2024-25 school year in Robbins, IL. This role allows you to lay the groundwork for students' first school experiences and create proactive support groups to enhance their success.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Full-Time Commitment: Serve from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, for the 2024-25 school year.
  • Student Support: Provide direct social work services to elementary students, addressing their academic, social, and emotional needs.
  • Collaborative Efforts: Partner with teachers, parents, and school professionals to develop and implement strategies that support students' overall well-being.
  • Individualized Plans: Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths and challenges, creating tailored plans to address their needs.
  • Positive Environment: Work with the school community to foster an inclusive and supportive environment.
  • Continuous Learning: Participate in meetings, workshops, and training sessions to stay informed on best practices and educational trends.

Requirements:


  • Educational Background: Master’s (MSW) or Doctoral degree in Social Work.
  • Certification: IL PEL with an endorsement in Social Work.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a K-12 setting is preferred. New grads are encouraged to apply!
