High School Speech-Language Pathologist: 2023-2024 School Year
AnthroMed Education is a local practice dedicated to supporting Speech Language Pathologists in their school-based careers across the Chicagoland area. Our team is the heart and soul of what we do, and we are committed to providing you with the resources and support you need in order to continue changing students' lives. We are currently seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to support one of our partner schools in Aurora, IL. This role is for a Speech-Language Pathologist who is interested in supporting the High School population of students, 9th through 12th grade.
Position Overview:
- Full-time, Monday-Friday.
- Hours: 8:00 am - 3:00 pm.
- Provide therapy to High School students, 9th-12th grade.
- Manage a caseload of 50+ students.
- Collaborate with other SLPs and Related Service staff in the building.
- Work with parents, guardians, and staff to support the educational growth of students.
- Participate in IEP conferences, team meetings, and problem-solving meetings.
- Develop treatment plans, in conjunction with instructional staff, that are strength-based, as well as child and family-centered for overall educational improvement.
- Ensure evaluations, intervention plans, and service delivery are aligned with school, state, and federal guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Professional Educator License (PEL) eligible in the state of Illinois
- Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License
