POSITION OVERVIEW
The Solutions Architect is responsible for designing technical solutions for current and prospective customers employing the GJ technology stack (software and hardware configuration) and architecture best practices to suit the needs of the customer’s business. Additionally, the Solutions Architect works with internal teams to define, develop, and evolve our standardized products and service offerings.The purpose of this role is to expand connectivity to the global industry by finding ways to better our platform so that it meets customer needs as they evolve over time.
A deep understanding of our platform, as well as the eDiscovery industry and customer needs, will allow the Solutions Architect to shape the customer journey.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop innovative technical solutions to meet customer requirements and objectives while effectively managing expectations.
- Define, validate, implement, and maintain best practices for each component of the GJ platform.
- Consult with internal stakeholders to ensure clarity of product capabilities, limitations, and requirements, offering alternative solutions and clearly outlining technical trade-offs.
- Identify, research, and develop solutions to the problems and challenges customers face in hosting and managing their eDiscovery environments.
- Form and maintain relationships within the eDiscovery industry, including technicians and vendors.
- Regularly interface directly with customer stakeholders, including occasional on-site and trade show visits.
- Create and maintain documentation and diagrams relevant to customer architecture.
- Consult on the creation of standardized documentation and scoping methods to create accurate product and services pricing proposals.
- Ensure deliverables consistently adhere to GJ standards and best practices.
- Employ superior problem solving and critical thinking skills to develop optimized solutions.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Expertise in managing eDiscovery platforms including Relativity, Reveal, and/or Nuix.
- Experience with both Server and Cloud-based solutions a plus.
- Familiarity with other eDiscovery applications.
- Expertise in server administration including Windows Server and Linux
- Ability to solve problems through independent research and critical thinking.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and continuous learning:
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing eDiscovery landscapes.
- Highly visible and available to work as needs arise.
- Ability to travel for client engagements up to 10% of the time.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficiency in storage solutions including understanding of DAS, SAN, NAS, local storage,
- Proficiency in networking technologies including network perimeters, switching, and firewalls.
- Virtualization expertise including knowledge of VMware and its interactions with storage and networking.
- Advanced knowledge of multiple eDiscovery applications
- Relativity Infrastructure Specialist and/or Relativity Certified Administrator certifications
- Professional IT Certifications, such as: SQL, Microsoft MCP, MCSA, or MCSE, Citrix CCEA or CCIA, SonicWall CSSA, ConnectWise CCPA, LabTech LTCP, Cisco CCNA, or VMware VCP
