About the role…
We are building a Chief Revenue Officer In-Training Program and are looking for our first hires to help participate in, and build, the program. The goal is to develop early career sales talent to empower your future success as a CRO or President of one of our 20 companies. Applications are encouraged if your career goal is to achieve a C-suite role. The job entails participating in developing growth strategy, executing strategy in partnership with our company executives, and setting qualified 1st appointments.If you successfully execute strategy and get results, this program will put you on a trajectory to join the C-suite of one of our businesses within 5 years.
Responsibilities will include:
Work with Board leads, CEOs, and Value Creation Leaders to develop strategic growth plansHave a seat at the table where decisions are madeDevelop and execute on the sales and marketing activities in growth plansDevelop prospecting targets in target marketsConduct prospecting and outbound lead generation 50% of your time to set qualified 1st appointmentsManage lead follow-up and nurture prospects throughout the sales cycleActively manage CRMAssist sales leaders and CEOs to attend sales meetings, nurture pipeline, and build proposalsAttain quota with intent for rapid promotion into sales leadership roles
Requirements:
2+ years’ experience in a business development or sales role1+ years of Managed IT sales experience is requiredHighly ambitious – driven to achieve targets and achieve quotasCareer goal is to earn your way into a C-Suite roleProficiency with sales CRM platformsStrategic and can think outside of the boxStrong phone and meeting presenceExperience with cold calling and prospectingTenacious and unafraid of rejection and lofty goals
