We take an integrated approach that connects your consumer’s online and offline experiences through data, media and the memorable moments that drive brand transactions.The Director of Finance is responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team responsible for strategic business reporting, forecasting, and insights/analysis as delivered through  forecasting (Monthly, Quarterly, Annual), long-term modelling and ad-hoc strategic support.

The Director provides end-to-end support including revenue, opex, net income, cash flow and balance sheet as well as corporate reporting for our executive management, owners including private equity and the board.

 The Opportunity


  • Financial Planning, Analysis & Budgeting
  • Responsible for collaborating with the CFO on financial strategies to meet organization goals and objectives, and provides financial planning and management leadership to the CFO and executive team
  • Builds and develops budgets and scenario analysis with the CFO and executive team leaders to drive short-term objectives and long-term growth.
  • Provides a range of financial modelling options, strategies and analyses to support business decision-making
  • Considers all relevant factors and data and relies on analysis and judgment for appropriate decision-making
  • Proposes and implements proactive strategies, processes, systems and policies to eliminate risks that may hamper the continuity of operations and financial risks
  • Operational Management Finance
  • Manages and drives management reporting – analyzes financial results, synthesizes issues and communicates key messages (including current and future business risks) to Exec Team
  • Owns monthly and quarterly management reporting; ensures a high degree of quality, timeliness, and accuracy in reporting as well as providing key business insights
  • Leads the budgeting process, working closely with department heads to establish KPIs and financial targets
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Proactively works with leadership groups to grow and accelerate their business units through proactive reporting, surfacing of insights and recommendations, financial risk management, and collaborative problem-solving
  • Works with the CFO on board-related reporting and FP&A and revenue strategy
  • Look for and implement continuous improvements to team structure, mandate, strategy, processes and tooling
  • Team Leadership
  • Provides leadership coaching and mentoring to the team and makes strategic changes where required to enhance bench strength at all levels, strengthen the planning and revenue team’s capabilities and elevate outcomes
  • Fosters a shared culture of high performance, engagement, knowledge sharing and collaboration
  • Supports the growth and development of the team

Qualifications


  • 10+ years' experience, including 3+ in an FP&A Leadership role
  • CPA designation or equivalent experience
  • Experience building, growing and developing a high-performing finance team
  • Ability to make recommendations with the big picture in mind while executing analytics and reporting with a high degree of detail and accuracy
  • Technology and systems forward thinker
