The right candidate will recognize the significance of showcasing results, utilizing agile processes and tools to enhance speed and efficiency, fostering collaboration across different departments, prioritizing the client’s point of view, and embracing an experimental and learning-oriented approach.JOB SUMMARYWe are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Marketing Manager to conceptualize and execute successful marketing strategies across our key sectors such as healthcare, hospitality, life sciences, and residential.

This role will establish an in-depth understanding of our target audiences through the creation of ideal customer profiles, personas, and buyers’ journeys. The marketer will then use this knowledge to create and execute marketing plans, including search engine optimization, content creation, and distribution tactics to reach the right people at the right time. Additionally, this position will demonstrate how marketing efforts contribute to our new business pipeline. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, this role requires four days in the Chicago office, with one optional work from home day each week.CORE RESPONSIBILITIES• Collaborate with National Sector Leads, Office Sector Leads, and Project Managers to create ideal customer profiles, personas, and buyer journeys for key segments.• Work with National Sector Leads, Office Sector Leads, and General Managers to define and prioritize target account/prospect lists.

Propose a strategy for targeted campaigns and outreach, considering account-specific marketing tactics.• Develop content marketing plans to move buyers at targeted accounts to the bottom of the funnel.• Direct outsourced copywriters to write articles, whitepapers, guides, case studies and other publications that communicate our unique knowledge to our target audiences.• Ensure our content is optimized for search engines.• Partner with other marketers to position our services as the best options in the market.• Collaborate with National Sector Leads, Office Sector Leads, and General Managers to identify industry partners and establish business development approaches.• Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to stakeholders.• Stay updated on industry trends, marketing best practices, and emerging technologies, recommending innovative strategies and tactics to drive continuous improvement.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS• 10+ years of marketing experience with a deep understanding of B2B marketing strategies and techniques.• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or communications.• Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing plans for national or local market implementation.• Digital marketing expertise, including website optimization, social media strategy, content marketing, and search engine optimization.• Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate client insight into actionable marketing strategies.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Organized with disciplined project management skills and meticulous attention to detail.• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and balance multiple projects simultaneously.• Desire to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial work environment.• Team player with the ability to collaborate with other marketers and colleagues.• Flexibility to remain nimble while contributing to a growing and experimenting marketing team.QUALIFICATION PREFERENCES• Marketing experience in a professional services company.• Experience with an account-based marketing (ABM) approach and/or associated ABM platform.PMA is comprised of over 150 project professionals experienced and licensed in nearly every aspect of the real estate industry with multi-disciplined backgrounds that are heavily rooted in the built environment, including architecture, development, asset management, brokerage, construction, engineering, finance, and urban planning.  Our local market knowledge and ability to leverage broad and diverse experience across a national portfolio of projects is unmatched in the industry, including assignments in civic, cultural, education, healthcare, hospitality, industrial, life sciences, multi-family residential, office and retail.  PMA is headquartered in Chicago, with offices in Austin, Los Angeles, New York, Orlando, San Diego and San Francisco, delivering expertise to a broad range of clients from developers to institutional investors based on 30 years of practical experience, allowing our teams to consistently anticipate issues, understand potential impacts and provide proactive solutions.Please review our US Application Privacy Policy
