Empowered by technology and inspired by equality, we are here to serve our clients beyond what is expected and help them achieve their future. Our Charlotte, North Carolina office is seeking a Wealth Advisor to assist clients and partner with other wealth advisors and team members in various roles to serve a client base consisting of high-net-worth families and business owners.

In this role, advisors will build internal support from existing colleagues, develop new business with internal and external clients, coordinate client engagement teams serving existing clients, and manage current client relationships effectively over a long period.

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Serve on the client service team to assist in managing client relationships.
  • Participate in client and prospect meetings as well as networking opportunities.
  • Coordinate and implement comprehensive financial plans that include estate, retirement, tax, and insurance considerations and discuss options with clients
  • Review and analyze financial performance results and prepare reports of a highly complex nature
  • Maintain contact with the client to revise the existing financial plan based on modified needs of the client or changes in the investment landscape
  • Responsible for preparing investment (portfolio) analysis and financial-related projects as needed.
  • Facilitate best practices and assist in monitoring and satisfying compliance requirements.

Basic Qualifications:


  • Undergraduate Degree, preferably in a business-related field
  • Active series 65 registration required, and CFP® expected
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in the Wealth Management/Financial Services industry
  • Experience with Schwab Institutional, eMoney Advisor, Black Diamond, and other financial planning software tools, including CRM systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for working with prospects, clients, and team members
  • Ability to work efficiently, effectively, and independently to see projects through to conclusion
  • Ability to support the presentation of material to clients and prospective clients as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and assignments
  • Basic knowledge of income taxes and effects of portfolio transactions on income taxes
