  • Collaborate with the learning team to produce high-quality 3D assets for video content using SketchUp
  • Coordinate closely with the Art Director and Subject Matter Expert to define asset requirements
  • Engage in regular storyboarding sessions to visualize learning materials effectively
  • Participate actively in project meetings for progress updates and reviews
  • Refine assets based on feedback from the Art Director or Production Team
  • Be proactive in identifying opportunities to use 3D model examples for particular lessons
  • Maintain rigorously organized SketchUp model files.
  • Stay informed about advancements in graphic design technologies and methodologies
  • Focus primarily on designing and animating objects and buildings; character modeling and animation skills are not required

Requirements


  • Possess 3-5 years of creating 3D graphics and animations using SketchUp
  • You are a licensed architect or working toward licensure with at least 5 years of experience
  • You have experience with commercial projects from start to finish (including bidding, SD, DD, and CA)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Previous experience with storyboarding and visualizing complex concepts through design
  • Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and project management abilities
  • You love learning new things: you're excited to dive deep into reference materials and resources to determine the information that is the most pertinent to the exam, and how to present it.
  • Preferred, but not required: you have experience teaching, mentoring, or helping others prepare for the ARE.
  • Familiarity with After Effects and/or Premiere Pro is a plus
  • Demonstrated expertise in 2D design using Illustrator is a plus
