Clarity Partners is seeking a
Senior Project Scheduler local to Chicago, IL.
The program scheduler interfaces with various teams within the organization to develop a detailed integrated Master Program Schedule for various projects and monitor project performance. This position will report in a hybrid setting.
Responsibilities
- Operate software applications based on business/system requirements, primarily focusing on Oracle Primavera P6 version 18 web and client.
- Participate in developing and maintaining fully integrated resource-loaded schedules using standard project management scheduling and earned value methodology.
- Maintain and develop time-phased budgets, work schedules, work breakdown structures, project codes, calendars, and cost account plans.
- Support contract processing and new project setup.
- Interface with the project's technical staff, financial staff, project managers, and functional managers on aspects of scheduling, cost estimating, risk, and earned value analysis.
- Monitor the efforts of consultants and contractors and ensure the accuracy of project schedules across city systems.
- Develop presentations pertaining to the project schedules, resources, and project performance.
Requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in project scheduling or as a project controls specialist.
- Advanced proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6 (both web and client versions) and other project management software.
- Strong understanding of earned value management (EVM) principles and methodologies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Project.
- Extensive experience in developing and maintaining fully integrated resource-loaded schedules.
- In-depth knowledge of project management processes, work breakdown structures (WBS), and time-phased budgeting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with project teams, technical staff, financial staff, and functional managers.
