In search of an Amazon Account manager with direct Amazon Retail team experience, usually in Vendor Central, to work on a contract basis. Outside of direct Amazon experience, previous agency experience or extensive in-house Amazon account management experience is needed for this role. This person is the most senior account lead, and is responsible for owning all aspects of a client's Amazon business and relationship, as well as developing and implementing strategies around the core functions of CommOps.
Responsibilities include:
- Best-in-Class Brand Presence: Ensuring every aspect of the Amazon customer experience is optimized from Detail pages to brand stores, A+, posts, brand stories, etc. Also includes strategies around review optimization, variations, bundles, and selection white spacing.
- Operational Excellence: Optimal utilization of Amazon's various fulfillment channels to ship product to Amazon and/or the customer.
- Manage FBA inventory for Seller Central clients, track Amazon on-hand and drive strategy around maintaining healthy in-stock
- Amazon Relationship Management: Deep understanding of the retail side of the Amazon business (Vendor Central) and working with Amazon Vendor Managers on a client or brand's behalf. This means having at least some experience with the AVN (Annual Vendor Negotiation) process and understanding the impact of CoOp terms and strategies around costing, MSRP, promotions, and advertising.
- Also responsible for managing the relationship with the CSM (Client Success Manager - junior level Amazon employee assigned to Vendor account) where applicable, which is increasingly common w/ Vendor clients.
- Ability to be present (remotely) for weekly client-facing meetings for clients' C-Suite
Qualifications
- 7-10+ years experience with Amazon (Seller Central and Vendor Central) Operations
- 7+ years experience with Amazon Vendor Management OR Agency experience
- Amazon Relationship Management, and experience with Annual Vendor Negotiation processes

- Vendor Central Experience
- Experience managing relationships with C-Suites at Large-to-Enterprise level clients
