Primary responsibilities include providing daily research and support to two supervisory attorneys, including maintaining and organizing the calendar, appealing property values, and data entry. Candidates should be organized, motivated, a self-starter, able to multitask, work well with others, have a strong work ethic, able to communicate with co-workers as well as with clients, by telephone, e-mail and letter, and be professional in appearance and demeanor. This is an in-office position with the hours of Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Providing daily support to two attorneys
- Heavy research
- Department billing
- Tracking appeal deadlines
- Appealing property values, which includes gathering and entering property values and tax rates into a database
- Preparing paperwork for appeal (i.e., form, cover letter, etc.)
- Coordinating hearings internally and working with various local officials to coordinate hearings all over the nation
- Reporting personal property tax values to various local governments, which includes filing the personal property rendition
- Managing our database of electronic client files
- Generating client reports as requested
- Answering and routing incoming phone calls
- Processing mail and incoming correspondence
- Appearance conscious
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (Bachelor of Science or Business & Management preferred) - Candidates that do not currently hold a bachelor's degree will not be considered for this position
- Two years of office experience
- Minimum Cumulative Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

Compensation:
- Starting Salary: 50,000
- 120 hours of PTO after a 90-day probation period (unused hours are forfeited annually)
