Life at Double Good

Our mission is the foundation of everything we do — create joy and reward those committed to helping others. It began when we created a way for youth sports teams to sell our popcorn and keep half of the profit. Soon, kids were sending us letters to tell us how much it meant to them to play on a team and how the popcorn helped them pay for registration or buy new uniforms. They said everyone who supported them loved the popcorn. These stories changed the way we looked at what we do, and we wanted to do it for more kids. Our brochure fundraising program has grown up alongside the kids who use it, becoming the quickest, easiest way to raise money. We started the online fundraising program to make it even easier. With just a few taps, an organizer creates an event page and invites each member of the team to build their own pop-up store. Everything gets stored and shared digitally through a link, so family and friends can support them through social media and texting. We've raised more than 70 million dollars to help kids do what they love. With fundraising at our core, we realized we'd built a community of people passionate about helping others. We started the Double Good Kids Foundation to make sports more accessible to kids with special needs by providing equipment, education, and opportunities. That's where you come in: 50% of every dollar you spend when you buy popcorn online goes to help kids with special needs. Our innovative corporate gifting program contributes, too. When a business sends our colorful boxes and personalized cards, 50% of each gift helps kids with special needs. Want to work for the most ridiculously delicious popcorn company? Here, we all want to come to work even when they're in the middle of an episode of Game of Thrones because we can wear what we want, be ourselves, and be respected at the same time. We offer an autonomous work environment, monthly visits from the ice cream truck, health benefits, a 401k, and meaningful, kickass work.
