In Bulgaria alone, we have 850 + employees across our offices in Varna, Veliko Tarnovo and Shumen and we’re continuing to grow!The Operational Risk (“Op Risk”) Specialist will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and resilience of our operational processes. The successful candidate will contribute to the oversight of operational risks across the organization. The Op Risk Specialist will be responsible for supporting the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the risk management framework for InterPay Limited, and TransferMate global subsidiaries.
Requirements
The Op Risk Specialist role requires an individual with a good understanding of the financial services industry and regulatory landscape. In particular, the Op Risk Specialist must possess the following skills and experience to undertake the role:
- 3 + years experience in a risk or compliance function within a bank or a FinTech environment preferably in a company within the domestic and international payment industry
- Experience in delivering risk management objectives in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
- A good understanding in operational risk management within the financial services industry
- Good understanding of payment systems, financial technologies, and global regulatory frameworks
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Demonstrates an ability to interact and influence at all levels
