The HR Business Partner will be responsible for supporting the business stakeholders in talent acquisition and management, performance management, employee relations, and design policies and ensuring their effective implementation and application. Developing and maintaining effective business partnerships and people connections and serving as a consultant in all HR areas. Implementing HR policies, processes, and practices to support business goals.

We'll Trust you to:


  • Guide and be responsible for end-to-end HR operations for India offices under the direction of US HR.
  • Collaborate and engage with the senior leadership to foster employee relations and help develop a positive work environment.  
  • Develop strategic plans for employee recruitment and retention, engagement, reward/recognition programs, etc. 
  • Act as a trusted advisor and mediator for employees and management, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts. 
  • Collaborates in developing and implementing HR plans, policies, and procedures to enhance employee performance and engagement. 
  • Analyze HR metrics and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making. 
  • Facilitate performance management processes, performance appraisals, and development plans. 
  • Collaborate with business leaders to identify key talent requirements and develop effective recruitment and talent acquisition strategies. 
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for both campus and lateral hires, including job analysis, sourcing, interviewing, and candidate selection. 
  • Design and facilitate the onboarding and integration of new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the organization.  
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, organizing orientation sessions, and facilitating the completion of required forms and paperwork. 
  • Manage the offboarding process, including exit interviews, return of company property, and finalizing paperwork. 
  • Identify training needs, facilitate training programs, and conduct periodic assessments of the training programs for ongoing refinement.  
  • Ensure accurate and timely administration of compensation and benefits programs.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and benchmarking data to ensure competitive and equitable compensation structures. 
  • Monitor employee attendance and time-off requests, ensuring accurate recording and compliance with company policies. 
  • Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations in India. 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, employment history, benefits enrollment, and performance documentation. 
  • Collaborate with external vendors, such as background check providers and benefits administrators, to coordinate services and resolve any issues. 
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned. 

You'll need to have:


  • Masters/ Post Graduation Degree with HR specialization 
  • At least 7+ years of experience in managing end-to-end HR operations
  • Experience in talent acquisition
  • Working knowledge of Indian payroll and compliance
  • Hands-on experience with MS Office/Excel and HRMS
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Self-starter with the ability to work/support multiple assignments in parallel
  • Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate needs
  • Ability to work effectively with others and adapt quickly
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience working in Pharma/Life Sciences based IT organization(s) is preferred
