Job Description
As a key member of Grantek’s Smart Packaging Solutions Team, you will be responsible for our customers technical implementation and maintenance of automation systems. You will be involved in commissioning, testing, programing of automation instrumentation and control systems as well as preventive maintenance and repair services of a variety of manufacturing automation systems, including, but not limited to: PLCs, HMIs, Sensors, VFDs, Industrial Networking. *This position requires frequent travel throughout the United States. Primary Job Responsibilities:
Following all customer and Grantek safety rules and GMP rules and regulations
Providing services including configuration, commissioning and troubleshooting, both onsite and remote.
Reading diagrams and technical documentation such as schematic, manuals, standards, and codes.
Engaging with electrical and mechanical installers
Connecting to PLC’s, and cameras for onsite configuration and verification
Executing I/O checks
Tuning/focusing/re-aligning camera systems
Work in collaboration with the Engineering team for all projects.
offering mechanical installation guidance and adjustments, troubleshooting for software and electrical issues
Identify process improvement opportunities.
Train customer operators and maintenance personnel

PLC Programming Platforms: Rockwell / Allen-Bradley.
Barcode Scanners and Smart Cameras (Cognex)
Basics of Ethernet networking
HMI Platforms: Rockwell / Allen-Bradley, Ignition
SCADA Platforms: Rockwell / Allen-Bradley, Inductive Automation
Operating Systems: Microsoft
Project Documentation: Microsoft Office
Qualifications
Will typically possess 2-3 years of relevant industry experience
Possesses at least one of the following or is working towards achieving: EET diploma/ AS degree
Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
Valid Driver’s License
Have full-time access to a personal vehicle.
Willingness to travel up to 80% throughout North America
