Position Summary:
Chartis is seeking a Business Development Analyst tasked with assisting the long-term strategic direction as part of the Growth Enablement team. This individual will conduct market research, provide portfolio support, and perform business analyses functions to inform recommendations that support decision-making by the firm’s leadership. The successful candidate will employ a mix of quantitative analysis and tactical insight to create and verify multi-year business strategies, work collaboratively in teams to solve problems in support of strategic projects, and establish administrative needs for pipeline growth, collaborating with internal teams on different contract and proposal projects.
Responsibilities:
· Establish and maintain strong relationships with Capture Team, Proposal Team, Chartis Resource Groups and Leadership to understand business needs and pain points.· Work with internal Solution Managers to understand the business goals and objectives of each project.· Assist BD team in execution of sales strategies tailored to customer segments.· Work closely with the operations team to understand and leverage their expertise in the BD process.· Manage the Contracting/Partnership inboxes to ensure all Task Order and Contract opportunities are logged and presented to the BD/Capture team.· Manage and assist in ensuring the BD Pipeline is always up to date. · Conduct and facilitate status and planning meetings.· Develop detailed documentation as needed.· Gather and analyze market intelligence to stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities.· Support company participation at technology conferences, trade shows, expos, and marketing events. · Learn and expand knowledge of Chartis contract offerings and upcoming awards to prepare and track both opportunities and potential tasks/needs of the BD/Capture team.· Coordinate quarterly business reviews, monitoring established performance metrics to improve processes.· Other duties as needed and assigned.Requirements
Requirements:
· 3 years of experience in business development within the DOD or on federal civilian government contracts. · Highly organized with high attention to detail.· Intellectually curious with ability to digest information quickly.· Ability to multitask and juggle conflicting priorities. · Ability to collaborate with a wide range of teams and communicate effectively with all levels of employees to ensure deadlines are met. · Able to prioritize communication methods; knowing when a phone call is needed, versus an email/text.· Experience with Hubspot, Salesforce, or similar CRM tool. · Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Excellent Excel skills; above average in PPT and Word.Preferred qualifications:· Bachelor’s degree. · Experience with large IDIQ or GWAC contracts and task order bidding process.· GSA Schedule knowledge.· Experience supporting the proposal development process.· Understanding of technology solutions.· Shipley training.
