What the Job Looks Like
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department.
· Manage and schedule all preventative maintenance.· Manage spare parts inventory· Manage reactive maintenance to minimize downtime.· Identify process improvement opportunities and work with teams to execute them.· Organize workflow and assist employees in understanding their duties and tasks.· Develop employees through coaching with additional training on existing technologies and new technologies.· Lead safe work practices, including OSHA, company safety policy, and hazard recognition.· Ability to work hands on with maintenance team as needed.· Review maintenance work to diagnose problems and ensure correct, cost-effective, and quality repairs for the operation of the facility.· Plan, organize, schedule & budget.· Administer Maintenance Software for preventative maintenance, spare parts inventory and issue tracking.
Required Qualifications
· Associate degree in a technical field· 5 Years of maintenance experience.· 3 Years of supervisory experience with a minimum of 3 direct reports.· Ability to effectively communicate (speak, read, and write) in English.· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
· Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.· Experience in a bottle-filling manufacturing environment.· Experience using maintenance software is a plus.All resumes/applications will be reviewed for this position and only for our organization.
