Job Summary


: The Project Director will oversee all aspects of project management for the Department of Labor (DOL) technical assistance and training initiatives. This role includes ensuring the quality of services, managing project timelines, coordinating with stakeholders, and leading a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality workforce development services.

Key Responsibilities


:

  • Oversee the overall project management and implementation of DOL technical assistance projects.
  • Develop and maintain a project work plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact with DOL and other stakeholders.
  • Lead and mentor project team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to DOL and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all contract requirements and government regulations.
  • Identify and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and partners to ensure seamless project execution.

Qualifications


:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of six years of experience in project management, preferably in government contracting or workforce development.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale, complex projects.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
