Job Description:


A Square Group is seeking a highly motivated, skilled Sr. Proposal Manager to join our team who will lead and coordinate all proposal and grants efforts across the organization.

What You Will Do:


Works collaboratively with the internal stakeholders, technical SME’s, account exec’s and capture proposal team members and partners to respond to requests for proposal (RFPs), requests for quotes (RFQs), requests for information (RFIs), presentations, and other written corporate collateral.

  • Leads the development of high-quality responses with competitive and compelling win themes and technical approaches.
  • Support the full opportunity journey from Lead to submission in the qualification process at each stage/gate reviews
  • Actively leads the proposal team throughout the response period, including planning, organizing and analyzing the requirements.
  • Develops proposal plan (to include compliance checklist, response outline, template, and schedule).
  • Conducts kick-off and regular status meetings, as well as solution and win theme sessions.
  • Coordinates collection of questions for submission.
  • Manages and works with proposal team to develop response sections, including taking responsibility for developing content as appropriate to include past performance and corporate qualifications.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with team members to help them write sections to meet timelines and have productive and timely review cycles
  • Leads proposal status reviews.
  • Schedules and conducts color reviews, facilitating participation by reviewers and inputs feedback into recovery document(s).
  • Single voice language, edits and conducts quality and compliance checks across all volumes for a final production.
  • Maintains proposal schedule and version control.
  • Manages graphics and production.
  • Ensures on-time delivery of a fully compliant and compelling response.
  • Maintain proposal documentation in the online corporate repository.
  • Manage multiple proposals simultaneously.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What We Need:


  • Bachelors Degree in English, business, marketing, communications, computer science, or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years proven successful experience managing, writing, and coordinating federal government proposals and overall 8 years of professional experience.
  • Thorough understanding of government federal contract proposal efforts, government RFP documentation, procurement process, proposal preparation and evaluation and compliance.
  • Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to effectively balance multiple priorities.
  • The ability to write proposal sections; this includes the ability to research and synthesize information from multiple sources (subject matter experts, previous proposals, publicly available materials) into a cohesive, easy-to-read, and persuasive final product.
  • Experience working with proposal teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment supporting critical business development activities.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with web-based tools and Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision, demonstrating flexibility, accountability, initiative and self-motivation to identify and execute tasks.
  • Ability to work non-standard hours when necessary for the timely completion of proposal activities.
