Merchco Services has been in business for 25+ years and is a leading national provider of retail store development and services including project management, merchandising, fixture installation, graphics installation, custom millwork and logistics. We have the ability and desire to train the right candidates for leadership roles so if you are dedicated, love to travel(nationwide), looking for a great team, and eager to grow, this is your new career path.Experience with store remodels, store setup crews, big box retail experience and /or new store openings is highly desired. You will be required to work an 8-10 hour days (may require overtime). Qualifying travel expenses are reimbursed. All employees will be required to have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Read schematics and retail blueprints to manage team of Installers to complete building requirements.
- Extensive profiling of bays and sections, including shelving and accessories
- Assemble specialty merchandising units, stands, shelving and displays.
- Able to work either days or overnight shifts depending on project requirements.
- Lead, train and develop Fixture Install team.
- Maintain storage organization of fixtures and store material.
- Maintain a positive relationship with co-workers and store personnel.
- Maintain a clean work environment and follow all company safety policies
- Work with a sense of urgency while having attention to detail.
- Responsible for completing general paperwork, use of mobile apps and sending/receiving emails.
- Millwork/Display/Shelving Assembly and Demo
- Signage installation
- Practical knowledge and use of tape measure, hand saw and other power tools and able to cut a straight line.
- Assemble components like fitting rooms, floating desks and shelving, and level/install owner supplied FF&E millwork.
- Safely operate forklift, scissor lift and pallet jacks (company certification provided).
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation (state to state commute)
- Ability to Able to travel extensively for projects nationwide.
- Able to drive up to 750 Miles at a time, in personal vehicle. (mileage reimbursements/travel pay and bonus provided)
- Must have at least 2yrs experience in a leadership role and 1 year experience in retail new store/remodel environment
- Must have your own tools for personal use.
- Must be physically able to stand for long periods, kneel, bend, reach and lift/carry up to 60lbs.
- Capable and willing to present a professional image of Merchco Services to our clients and retail personnel.
- Must have a personal banking account for direct deposit and proof of valid vehicle insurance.
- Must have a device with internet for email and app-based programs.
- Must be willing to share rooms when the project requires double occupancy.
Salary Description$20.00 - $22.55
