Role - $25.00/Hr plus incentives!
The Licensed Health Agent (Florida 2-40 or 2-15) will bring their insurance expertise to this role, explaining the different plans (Medicare Advantage, Prescription Drug Plans, Medicare Supplements, Dental & Vision, DSNP) in detail. They help clients understand the various plan eligibility criteria, look at their client's circumstances, and recommend plans accordingly. Assessing a client’s needs is key as that is the best way to get them an insurance plan that meets their budget and lifestyle. As an agent, it will be your responsibility to negotiate contracts or solicit applications related to health insurance.
We provide additional training and knowledge of CMS guidelines, computer systems and tools, specific insurance products we represent, and the enrollment process.
Responsibilities
- Contact leads promptly and appropriately as set forth by the Company.
- Manage and maintain a book of business within the health plans sales system.
- Making daily outbound calls over the phone to individuals to discuss health plans.
- Talk about the benefits of healthcare programs offered by insurance companies.
- Comparing the client’s eligibility to meet the Medicare requirements.
- Explain various policies' features, advantages, and disadvantages to promote sales.
- Calculate premiums and establish payment methods.
- Support, develop, and maintain relationships with all customers.
- Utilize necessary resources and navigate systems efficiently to verify and provide accurate information to prospects.
- Use a consumer-centric, consultative selling approach to align our consumers’ healthcare needs with appropriate products from campaigns portfolio.
- Ability to remain confidential with all proprietary information.
- Follow all NationsBenefits, HIPAA, and MCO / Medicare guidelines.
- Performs additional duties as assigned by Management based on business demands.
- Complete training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of the company and position.
- Attend meetings, seminars, and programs to learn about new products and services, learn new skills, and receive technical assistance in developing new accounts.

- Computer literacy, with specific knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
- Fluency in two or more languages is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Prior call center experience.
- Prior Medicare Product Sales experience.
- Prior Sales (any industry) experience.
- In addition to English, proficiency in additional languages; ability to read, write, and speak without limitations or assistance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent. A college degree is preferred.
- Active resident Health Insurance license for your state of residence (based on the resident state’s Department of Insurance requirements).
- 1+ years professional experience in navigating multiple computer tools/systems/screens.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime, nights and weekends as needed to meet business demands.
- Must be released from any current appointment.
Work Hours and Schedule:
- Monday through Friday with shifts from 8:00 AM - 11:00 PM EST.
- Schedules during the Annual Enrollment Period (October – December) will shift slightly to cover 7 days a week from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM EST, and at least 1 weekend shift will be scheduled.
