Your ROLE
Crossmedia is hiring a Director of Paid Search for our Performance Media Team. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented, strategy-loving individual who enjoys using their SEM skills to plan, monitor and troubleshoot campaigns.
- Strategizing, executing, and optimizing digital media campaigns, with a specialization in Search Engine Marketing (SEM).
- Utilizing Google Ads, Bing Ads, and Campaign Manager 360 (Search Ads 360) platforms, executing a range of media tactics such as SEM, Search Audience Retargeting, PMAX/Shopping, Demand Generation, Multi-Media Ads, and Microsoft Audience Network (MSAN).
- Leveraging paid search networks beyond Google and Microsoft to drive incremental growth for clients.
- Primary client lead on multiple SEM accounts, managing day-to-day communications and strategy.
- Analytical and storytelling to analyze trends and interpret overall campaign performance, extending beyond SEM platform KPIs.
- Managing multi-million-dollar marketing campaigns, with a focus on new customer acquisition across paid search channels, including Google Shopping.
- Overseeing the daily client operations, producing Points of View (POVs), supervising team members, and training them to ensure best-in-class strategy and execution.
- Possess an entrepreneurial mindset, enthusiastic about developing the agency with new tools, ideas, and opportunities.
- Passionate about integrated strategy and execution, with a keen interest in collaborating with non-search based media channels (programmatic, paid social, CTV/OTT/Linear TV, etc.)
- Diligent, disciplined, and comfortable in a casual, collaborative environment, with a genuine passion for digital advertising (SEM) and a commitment to both teaching and learning about the dynamic field of paid search and digital media.
REQUIREMENTS
- Deep expertise in using major platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and 3rd Party Management tools (8+ years)
- Power user of Google Analytics or similar analytics platforms
- Ability to develop and implement comprehensive paid search strategies that align with the client’s overall marketing and business goals
- In-depth knowledge of the DTC space, with a track record of delivering innovative and integrated strategies that drive strong performance
- Significant experience in client-facing roles, including serving as the primary point of contact for high-profile clients
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and manage resources effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively
- Strong leadership and empathy/mentoring skills to inspire and develop team members, ensuring high performance and professional growth
- Keen awareness of the latest trends and developments in digital marketing and paid search, with a commitment to continuous learning and adaptation
Salary range $135 - $150k. Commensurate with experience. Compensation is determined on the skills, qualifications and tenure of the applicant.
