MBL Technologies is hiring for a
Siem Architecture to support our client in the management and administration of the SIEM Support Services task. The Architect will be responsible for maintenance and growth of a complex federated Splunk environment both on premises and cloud hosting technologies.
This role is contingent upon award of contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and mature a complex federated Splunk environment consisting of on premises and cloud hosting (including but not limited to Amazon Web Services (AWS) Commercial, AWS GovCloud, Microsoft Azure, and Splunk Cloud) infrastructure utilizing best practices, industry standards, and emerging technologies.
- Lead an engineering team supporting the operation of Splunk and Interagency SIEM integrations which ensure searches, alerts, reports, and visualizations support security operations.
- Develop best practices and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) based on use cases related to Splunk tasks within the federal agency.
- Act as a primary point of contact for agency Splunk engineers to assist with troubleshooting, technology rollouts, and upgrade processes.
- Support the agency's SOC Splunk usage to improve agency wide security monitoring.
- Design and implement architectural solutions to address challenges in delivering relevant data to SIEM solutions.
- Perform other official job duties as assigned in support of the federal agency
Required Experience/Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree with technical major preferred.
- Current and maintained certification in one or more of the following IT Security disciplines; Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Splunk Core Certified Consultant, AWS Certified Solutions Architect and/or Azure Solutions Architect, and/or Cribl Certified Admin.
- Minimum of fifteen (15) years of Information Technology and/or cybersecurity experience.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of Splunk experience.
- Extensive experience working with Splunk Architect and Cloud Architect.
- Experience with infrastructure automation, such as Ansible.
- Extensive experience with networking, system design, and development.
- Experience and understanding of Project Management.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.
