MBL Technologies is hiring for a
Siem Project Manager to support our client in the management and administration of the SIEM Support Services task. The Project Manager will lead the execution of all supporting activities for the federal agency in connection to the project.
This role is contingent upon award of contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute, oversee, and manage the work performed under the SIEM Support Services task.
- Develop and execute a Task Management Plan that reflects the interdependencies of the various staffing areas.
- Team organization and management to include a staffing plan, staff training, and management of staffing changes addressing Key Personnel positions.
- Manage Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), schedules, cost, and task requirements.
- Report, document, and manage problems, changes, risks, mitigation plans, and project recommendations.
- Communicate and escalate procedures, general operating procedures, transition plans, and additional information the contractor deems relevant.
- Manage task deliverables and acceptance process, distribution lists, format, and schedules for government review and acceptance.
- Communicate with key stakeholders any updates and/or feedback as needed.
- Evaluate the overall project performance.
- Perform other official job duties as assigned in support of the federal agency
Required Experience/Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree with technical major preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience leading government team projects.
- Minimum of five (5) years of Splunk experience.
- Ability to identify project goal objectives, and scope and create a project plan that outlines the tasks, timelines, and resources required, while establishing and maintaining processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards, and assessing risks.
- Experience developing and reviewing communication plans for program initiatives, reporting project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalating issues, as necessary, according to the project plan.
- Experience with project budgeting and cost control management, ensuring the project remains within budget.
- Extensive experience with Agile Scrum.
- Experience and understanding of Project Management.
- High proficiency in using Microsoft Office products (e.g. MS Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint) to create documents, briefings, and leadership reports.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.
Desired Experience/Skills:
- Current and maintained certification in one or more of the following IT Security disciplines; Cybersecurity Analyst+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Splunk Enterprise.
