Position Summary:
Chartis is seeking a Candidate Experience Specialist to enhance our recruiting efforts and take ownership of ensuring a positive, organized, and efficient interview process is followed. This individual must thrive in a fast-paced environment, adeptly managing multiple priorities and demonstrating exceptional organizational skills to proactively identify, resolve, or escalate issues as needed. The successful candidate will work collaboratively across business units to ensure that hiring metrics are met and both hiring managers and candidates have a consistent point of contact and receive feedback throughout the process.
Responsibilities:
- Work with internal stakeholders and external partners to document the recruiting process.
- Ensure that Paylocity is utilized and refined to increase automation and efficiency. Working to be the company ambassador of the system, encouraging use, helping to set up and customize fields/process/workflows where needed.
- Prioritize tasks and juggle multiple responsibilities at once.
- Utilize Paylocity and Microsoft Office Suite to track candidates and coordinate hiring manager calendars for interviews.
- Read and identify a resume matching a specific job description.
- Assess cultural fit for candidates through an initial interview.
- Keep hiring managers on task and ensure deadlines are being met to ensure a positive candidate interview experience.
- Act as the liaison to coordinate between external recruiting partners and internal hiring managers to set up interviews and track candidate statuses in both Excel and Paylocity.
- Attend weekly all-hands calls to proactively anticipate which contracts and roles will need support and when.
- Hand off candidates from external recruiting partners to internal HR staff once a candidate has reached the offer and onboarding stage.
- Other duties as needed and assigned.
Requirements
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in recruiting coordination, HR coordination, or similar role. Must understand the basics of the recruiting lifecycle.
- Highly organized with high attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and juggle conflicting priorities.
- Ability to collaborate with a wide range of teams and communicate effectively with all levels of employees.
- Experience with Paylocity and disciplined to use it and update it in real time.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Preferred qualifications:
- Prior government contract company and recruiting experience.
- Bachelor’s degree.
