Job Summary
This is a production support developer role that will join a team of 4 developers to help with backend development. The user will focus on bug fixes and enhancements that come into the team. They will research the issue to figure out what is broken and then work to implement that fix into the code. They will work with the team to ensure the code is ready to be deployed and help deploy the code.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for fixing and implementing changes or enhancements to software applications for internal and client use
- Ensuring smooth backend integration
- Refactoring legacy applications
- Addressing maintenance issues using a variety of software development technologies
- Identifying, recommending, and prioritizing fixes for applications in conjunction with business leaders and department managers
- Developing, coding, installing, testing, debugging, and documenting applications
- Refactoring software to ensure accuracy and currency
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting problems with existing applications
- Ensuring security of Company websites and related applications
- Updating the management on the status of all open tickets
- Gathering requirements from the business team and preparing a project planning document
- Supporting the change management team.
Requirements
- Using C#, ASP.NET, HTML, JAVASCRIPT, MVC, TSQL;
- Working with software development lifecycle & Design Patterns;
- Salesforce Tool experience; working on developing REST and SOAP web service; and with MS SQL Database 2012.
- Requires Bachelor of Science degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Requires 5 years of experience as a Programmer/Developer, Software Engineer, or related occupation.
Remote Work Information

Compensation Information
The average salary for this position is expected to be between 75,000 and $130,000/year however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We do not anticipate candidates to be paid at the top of the range however, from time to time, it may occur on a case-by-case basis. Other rewards and benefits may include: 401(k) match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short and long term disability, paid-time off, etc.
